Frequently Asked Questions

What is the time commitment?

  • Attend (2) one-hour meetings monthly. 
  • Be active on the Slack channel and in Circle as you have time. We're all busy and have a lot of demands on us through the day.

Is there an agenda for the meetings?

  • Throughout the month, team members contribute ideas to the #agenda-request space.
  • A couple of days prior to the next meeting, the facilitator collects these comments and creates an agenda in the same channel.
  • If no agenda requests come in the team can meet and start talking.
  • Great topics ALWAYS rise to the top.

Is there a facilitator for the meetings?

  • For brand new teams, Brenda will sit in to help facilitate and guide the meetings for the first month or two.
  • After the team has grown to 10 people or individual members decide on agendas, which ever comes first, is when we step out of the meetings and let the team rake over.
  • Each individual who presents an agenda idea will do the research to facilitate the topic at the meeting. 
What if I can't attend a meeting?

  • Try to make a commitment to attend the meetings. But we do understand life happens and things come up!
  • Communicate with your team that you won't be at the next meeting.
  • There's usually no need to reschedule the meetings. 
What level is the team I'll be on?

  • Each team consists of team members from three years to 20+ years of industry experience with a yearly revenue over 1 million.
  • Everyone on the teams are in a distributorship.
When are the meetings?

  • Team meetings take place once or twice per month on the same days and times each month.
  • Community events vary depending on speaker and member availability.
How many people are on a team?

  • The goal for every team is to be represented by 10 businesses. 
  • There is magic in the number being ten. At this size the group facilitates itself for the most part. There is no weight on any one person and the conversations are varied and robust. Also, confidentiality and trust are easy to establish and maintain. Our goal is always to solve problems, never to complain. This helps keep maintain that level of shared vision for all.
What if I don't like the team I'm on?

    Please reach out to Brenda with your concerns about your team. She will be happy to assist you with this and consider a new team to place you in.
